Ireland - Kinsale, Killarney & Kissing The Blarney

This tour features a fabulous new hotel in County Cork which allows us to explore the highlights of both Cork and Kerry. Kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, ride around Killarney National Park in a horse-drawn jaunting car and follow the Wild Atlantic Way to beautiful Bantry, taking in the warmth and spirit of this lovely corner of Ireland on the way!

Oriel House Hotel Ballincollig, Co. Cork

Located a short walk into Ballincollig town centre and the west side of Cork is an ideal base for exploring. The 99 comfortable bedrooms are finished to a high-end standard, a good size and well equipped. Each bedroom has air conditioning, a hairdryer, safe, TV as well as free WiFi. The groups’ dine in the stylish and contemporary Oriel restaurant, before retiring to the large bar or outdoor covered courtyard to enjoy a drink. The hotel also boats a 25m indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym.

Day 1

Depart the local area and travel to Holyhead for our afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin. We continue our journey to the Westgrove Hotel, Clane for our evening meal and overnight stay (overnight bag recommended).

After breakfast at the hotel we continue our journey to the Oriel House Hotel, Cork, your base for the next 4 nights.

Day 3

We begin our day with a visit to Blarney Castle and Gardens. We then continue to the popular town of Kinsale, we have free time here before we enjoy a 1 hour guided walking tour of the town.

Day 4

Today we enjoy a guided tour of the Killarney Brewing Company before our tour continues with a jaunting car ride through the beautiful Killarney national Park to Ross Castle.

Day 5

Today is a full day excursion to Bantry House and Gardens.

Day 6

After breakfast at the hotel we begin our journey home and travel to The Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, for our evening meal and overnight stay.

Return journey home with breakfast on the ferry.
