Windsor with Afternoon Tea
What could be more English than taking a classic English afternoon tea in the Queen’s back yard! Windsor’s Harte and Garter Hotel sits opposite the castle itself, with views from the restaurant overlooking the historic royal seat.

Windsor’s Harte and Garter Hotel sits opposite the castle itself, with views from the restaurant overlooking the historic royal seat. You will get to tuck into a delicious array of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and fresh cream, and fine patisserie, accompanied by your choice of tea or coffee. This fantastic 2 day tour also includes a full day excursion to explore Windsor at your leisure.
The Harte & Garter Hotel
Located opposite Windsor Castle, The Harte and Garter Hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of Windsor. Built in the 14th century, the hotel and spa offers old world charm and historic character, with modern amenities such as free WiFi throughout. Enjoy your stay in the heart of Windsor with unique stunning views of Windsor castle in one of the 98 rooms some of which are beautifully decorated and full of period features like ornate marble fireplaces and solid dark wood furnishings.
Day 1
A morning departure we travel to Windsor and check in to the Harte and Garter Hotel, opposite Windsor Castle the hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of Windsor. At 15:00hrs take a seat in the hotel’s grand Tower Bar and Brasserie for afternoon tea which includes freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, sandwiches and tea and coffee. Delicious! The remainder
of the evening is free for you to explore.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a free day in Windsor. Surrounded by the delightful countryside of the Royal County of Berkshire, discover this historic, quintessentially English town set in a glorious riverside location. Wander its cobbled streets and browse the quaint tea rooms and shopping arcades. Our coach will depart at 16:00hrs to begin the return journey home.
